Dementia Australia is the peak body for dementia in Australia. They provide information for people living with dementia, families, friends and carers. The Dementia Australia website has resources on what dementia is, testing, diagnosis, and living with dementia including support, personal stories and management.
There are also resources for healthcare professionals and opportunities for research funding.
Dementia Support Australia provides support to family members and carers of people living with dementia, and healthcare professionals. They bring together industry-wide expertise to provide personalised advice and strategies for care through a support line, consultations and resources on their website.
Dementia Training Australia is funded by the Australian Government and provides a range of educational resources and training on the care of people living with dementia for the Australian workforce. A range of courses, workshops and resources can be accessed on their website.
