The National Ageing and Research Institute is a national, independent medical research institute. Their work focuses on all aspects of ageing and aged care, but does have specific resources related to dementia. Their website provides information about dementia research, and access to seminars and workshops.
Research into dementia at the Florey Institute focuses on identifying drug targets, improving patient diagnosis and trialling new treatments. Their website provides more information about this research and the people conducting it.
The Cognitive Decline Partnership Centre focuses on developing evidence-based guidelines and tools for best practice dementia care. The Centre brings together people living with dementia and their carers with researchers, healthcare professionals and industry partners. The Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre conducts research which seeks to improve the lives of people living with dementia and their carers. Their website provides access to information about their research and how to get involved, a number of online courses, and their quarterly newsletter.
The National Centre for Healthy Ageing undertakes collaborative and translational research that aims to transform health related to ageing, including dementia, through design, testing and implementation.

The WA Centre for Health and Ageing (WACHA) conducts ageing research in Western Australia to provide high-quality and evidence-based care for dementia patients.
The enAble Institute conducts research on healthy ageing and well-being. They collaborate with consumer groups, stakeholders, and government, and host the Dementia Centre of Excellence for dementia prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management.
The Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing aims to achieve healthier brain ageing and better clinical care of brain diseases. They conduct research into dementia and have initiatives including the Dementia Momentum and Wipeout Dementia.

CJCADR was established in 2012 and focuses on advancing the understanding of dementia and development of new therapies through a deep understanding of the brain.
